Celebrate your Indiana County Trails and join us an exciting two-day trail meet up!

Day One – Thursday, August 9: Riders can enjoy time on the Ghost Town Trail, with an 18-mile ride from Dilltown to Blairsville at 3:30pm or for the optional 3-mile short ride from the Saylor Park Trailhead to Blairsville at 4:30pm.

Following the ride, we invite you to a public meeting being held to reveal the design plans for the Route 22 Pedestrian-Bicycle Bridge, which is a critical piece in connecting regional bike trails into the Borough of Blairsville and beyond. The meeting is being hosted by the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development and will take place from 5:00pm – 8:00pm at the Blairsville-Saltsburg School Complex at 100 School Lane, Blairsville, PA. Please, come support your trails!

Day Two – Friday, August 10: A 26-mile ride from Blairsville to Saltburg and back is planned on the West Penn Trail. The ride will begin at the Newport Road Trailhead at 9:00am.  This ride features a 13-mile section with about 50% hilly terrain to Saltsburg for lunch, and the same 13-mile return ride to Blairsville. The optional 8-mile short ride is a ride on the flat section of trail, which features historic, 100+ year old stone-arch bridges.
